Corwood Productions, creators behind the Seattle Based TV pilot, the Divine Marigolds, are shooting a new film titled All My Presidents Nov. 18 to 20t at two North Admiral houses in West Seattle. All My Presidents is a short film, created by West Seattle resident and executive producer Sarah Mackay as a tribute to her grandfather. According to the film's press release, "All My Presidents is about a young boy who, after losing his father, grabs ahold of the only thing left, the ideology of U.S. presidents. The film is set in 1954 through 1992 and explores the coming of age in a political world and finding your own voice."

On Saturday the film has been using 5114 and 5049 SW Grayson St. The 5114 property is both rustic and stately with a half-acre of manicured grounds rolling down toward Alki with a majestic Sound view.

"Connor is 21, and a prodigy," said West Seattle resident Kaynor of the director. "He has been working a lot in L.A. lately. He is picking up speed. His work is absolutely stunning, amazing, not only with the shots he gets, but with the acting.

"Rick Walters serves in the Army," said Kaynor, 33. "He runs the whole set for me. If anything starts to fall behind, he cracks the whip faster than anything you can imagine possible. We were actually hired by a local executive producer who had the idea of the story, a mom here at Holy Rosary, Sarah Mackay. She had been mulling this story around for a few years. It was inspired by her grandfather. It's a short (film.) I'm using this to pitch for a full feature length film."

He interrupts, "Does anyone have a blue, 4-door Escort that's on set?" Kaynor shouts politely to the crew. "It has to be moved."

Hair says, "Action." The soldier, Brian Sutherland, his wife, Lisa Coronado, and their son, played by 9 year-old Jonah Beren do an emotional scene. They hug, and he departs for war as he clutches his duffle bag, exiting the front porch. Hair then says, "And cut." The take is done, and assistants quickly move in to drape blankets around Coronado, wearing a summer dress, and Beren, in a dress shirt and formal pants, as they begin to shiver on this sunny, but chilly fall day.
