"The way this all came together was in an effort to help kids with medical issues," said Bob Ingalls, Artistic Director/Conductor of Musica Sacra, which began last January. He is also the church choir director at Holy Rosary. He has his undergraduate degree with Julliard, his masters degree from Eastman School of Music. He played clarinet with the Seattle symphony, Opera, and Ballet for over 20 years.
"We have 12 members in this choir, a group of elite singers. All of my section leaders have masters degrees in vocal performance. While this concert will benefit the West Seattle Food Bank and Helpline, in the future we want to play for churches or charitable foundations for benefit concerts that will also help sick children."
