The passing of Pacific Institute founder, Lou Tice came as a shock to many not only here in West Seattle but worldwide where his work had reached to include thousands of people in many nations. In preparation for the memorial service set for Friday April 13, at 10 am Barbie Siefert the Director of Global Operations for the company and company President Jack Fitterer shared letters with those who knew, or worked with or who were touched and changed by Tice's message of self empowerment.
Friends ~
This week I have had the honor of coordinating the Celebration of Life service for Lou Tice, who passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 1.
With all my heart I can tell you that it has been a labor of love ~
Yesterday Diane Tice received a donation in honor of Lou for $100,000 for our Better World Foundation, from someone who had never met Lou Tice in person – he had been a participant in one of our DVD based seminars. We didn’t know or recognize is name or his companies name, and when Jack Fitterer our President asked him about the donation he explained to Jack that he had attended a facilitated seminar – and after completing the seminar he changed his life, changed his thinking, started a now very successful company – and the curriculum taught by Lou Tice change his life forever.
Although my heart aches – and I am very sad I am most of all grateful for having had the unique privilege of spending eight years of my life learning by example from a masterful change agent.
If it is of interest to you – we will be streaming Lou’s Celebration of Life service live on the internet tomorrow at 10:00 am Pacific Standard Time at this link:

As for what’s next for me, I am dedicated to continuing the legacy and life’s mission of Lou Tice, an extraordinary man...

To The Pacific Institute Family Worldwide -
It is with mixed emotions that I convey the passing of our dear friend, coach and mentor, Lou Tice. Chairman and co-Founder of The Pacific Institute, Lou slipped away quietly at home on Sunday evening, after a short stay in the hospital, surrounded by loving family and friends.
We know Lou would have wanted everyone to be able to celebrate Easter with their families. Memorial service arrangements have been made. The service will be Friday, April 13th, at 10:00am at St. Edward’s Catholic Church, here in Seattle.
In the meantime, if you would like to send messages to Diane, please send them to Sarah Siefke at sarahs@pac-inst.com and she will make certain that they are delivered to the Tice family.
This is truly a celebration of a life well-lived. The mission hasn’t changed. The mission will not change. I know Lou would want us to continue his and Diane’s most important work in the world.
Thank you for your love and prayers, as we all move forward.
Jack
