The Tuscan Tea Room at 4521 California Ave. s.w. in the middle of the West Seattle Junction has changed its name to La Romanza Bistro Italiano. Owner Aimee Pellegrini in a post on the restaurant's own blog said that, they made the change, "at the urging of our patrons and our good judgement."

Along with the name change they are adding Wednesday nights to their dinner hours beginning next week.

The company is also expanding into web sales, and will begin offering their more than 70 teas on the internet.

The changes get an inaugural celebration April 26 with a sold out wine dinner featuring jazz quintet Pearl Django.

La Romanza Bistro Italiano is open for lunch Tuesday through Friday 11 am to 4 pm and dinner Thursday through Saturday 5pm to 10pm. Weekend Brunch is 10:30am to 4pm
