Songs, An English Teacher, What Did I Ever See in Him?, Put on a Happy Face, One Boy, A Lot of Livin' to Do, Kids, Rosie and Spanish Rose are musical theatre classics.
Drama instructor Andrew Finley said, ""This production marks my 10th musical at West Seattle High and my first return to the 1950s since doing "Grease" my first year. These shows are a blast to be in and to see - full of memorable songs and good old fashioned fun. This cast is a great mix of theatre vets and newbies, freshman to seniors. Everyone is having a blast and you can feel it from the seats. It's sure to be great fun for all."

Looking ahead to next year Finley said, "Next year is still a bit up in the air. Our music program is changing so we're not sure how that will affect the musical but rest assured, we'll have a couple of great shows in the fall and spring not to mention the student directed production in January. We are so grateful for the support of WSHS families and the West Seattle community. The arts in schools couldn't exist without this kind of critical involvement. Looking forward to exciting adventures ahead - onward and upward!"
