One Soul Revolution, a clothing company started up by West Seattle couple Fio and Ashlee three years ago is using Kickstarter, an online crowd-funding platform, to take their company to the next level, allowing them to produce clothing with a positive message right here on the peninsula.

They only have three days left to reach their Kickstarter goal, and Fio reached out the Herald with this information on their company, philosophy and plans:

Hi there!

My name is Fio Bazo. My partner (Ashlee) and I own a clothing brand called One Soul Revolution based in West Seattle. One Soul Revolution (OSR) is a movement to spread positive messages and connect people and organizations, using clothing as our canvas. The name "One Soul" is based upon the concept that we are all connected, and that powerful things can happen when people band together.

We love to bring together art, people, and causes that we believe in. We have partnered with non-profits that have similar values (such as Puget Sound Off, Stirring the Fire, She Jumps and the Melissa Erickson Foundation) worked with local and emerging artists, and have used our shirts to bring together people from all walks of life. Quality and comfort are top priorities with our clothing; however, the message behind the brand is the foundation of our product.

We are trying to raise enough funds to bring all production in-house and to become an eco-friendly company. Every little bit counts and there are a couple of ways to be a part of it! One is by pledging any amount on our Kickstarter page or you can help us spread the word. The great thing about Kickstarter is that there are rewards for each pledge amount, so backers benefit just as much!
