Delridge Day 2012: June Update (press release from Holli Margell, Delridge Day Committee)
June 25th – The Delridge Day Planning Committee is on a roll with several updates for the Delridge Day Festival on August 18th from 11AM-3PM.
The newest feature to the festival is the Delridge Day Chow Down. It is the first Delridge Food Truck round up set to feed festivalgoers. The trucks are: Athena’s (Greek), Jemil’s Big Easy (Cajun), and Full Tilt Ice Cream (with an ice cream "trike" instead of truck)!
The Delridge Day Music Stage is full of local talent. We have the Ellis Brother’s Opening with Jazz, and Low Land High playing Americana/Rock & Roll.
The Skate Contest has over $1,000 worth of prizes. All ages and skill levels welcome.
The Vendor Zone is filling up: Applications are open – first come first serve, so get yours in soon!
The Kids Zone will feature a Bouncy House, Picnic Games and Face Painting.
We still need Volunteers on the day of the event! If you can dedicate 2-4 hours to help make this the best Delridge Day festival to date, please contact the Delridge Day Planning Committee at delridgeday@ndnc.org
This is set to be the most event feature rich Delridge Day to date, and it wouldn’t be possible without our festival-level sponsors: Alki Bike and Board, Highline Urgent Care, Rain City West, Youngstown Flats, Nucor Steal – Thank you!
Details about our event and Family-level Sponsorships, Skate Competition, Vendor Packet and Food Vendors can be found on our webpage: www.ndnc.org/delridgeday
