UPDATE: One dead in fatal White Center crash

Update for 12 p.m., Aug. 3
In a followup conversation on this morning's fatal crash in White Center, Sgt. Cindi West said investigators found no indication of alcohol, drugs or speeding involved on either drivers' part.
West said the female driver (who was headed eastbound on 106th in a Ford Bronco when she ran into the male victim pulling out of his driveway) had an 8 year old in the vehicle, but they were not injured. Charges are not expected to be filed against the driver.
The victim, a man in his 70s, was dead by the time paramedics arrived.

According to the King County Sheriff's Office, one man is dead after a collision near the intersection of S.W. 106th St and 9th Ave S.W. in White Center.
Sgt. Cindi West said the victim was pulling out of a private driveway when he was t-boned by an eastbound driver on 106th.
We will update as we get more information.
