Update for Nov. 15.
After a month long food drive in October, nine West Seattle physical therapy clinics and the people of West Seattle combined to gather 1500 pounds of food.
The food was given to the West Seattle Food Bank.

West Seattle physical therapy clinics hosting October-long food drive for W.S. Food Bank
There are still a few days left in October to donate food to West Seattle physical therapy clinics holding a month-long food drive. So far this month, West Seattleites have donated over 900 pounds of food, according to Sound Physical Therapy, one of the participating clinics.

Several West Seattle physical therapy businesses have teamed up for a friendly competition to find out who can gather the most food donations for the West Seattle Food Bank during the month of October.
Here are the details from Sound Physical Therapy, who launched the idea:
Sound Physical Therapy has challenged other West Seattle Physical Therapy clinics to unite in a good natured competition to celebrate National Physical Therapy Month.
From Oct. 1 to Oct. 31 each participating P.T. clinic will accept food donations for the West Seattle Food bank.
Nicole Allen, Development Coordinator, at West Seattle Food Bank said:
“We are all so very excited about this! We will be relying heavily on our community to keep up with growing needs of our neighbors and to start building up our reserves for the holiday season.”
Please stop by one of the clinics and drop off your donation!
