Hometown Holidays West Seattle tradition returns Dec. 1

A full three weeks of holiday fun comes to the West Seattle Junction beginning Saturday, December 1.
Events include a community tree lighting ceremony, Shop Late Thursdays, West Seattle Art Walk, Hometown Holiday Sundays, which features a Holiday raffle from Junction merchants and special in-store events. Santa will be there to listen to children’s requests, with professional photos by Donna Ryan Photography and everyone can enjoy a traditional carriage ride down California Avenue SW pulled by beautiful Belgium Draft mules. There will also be FREE gift wrapping stations on the last 2 Saturdays before Christmas.

Tree Lighting
Saturday, December 1
Time: 5PM
The Junction presents our 9th Annual Tree Lighting Event. It’s a community event for family, friends and neighbors. It will be held in Junction Plaza Park at 42nd and Alaska.
Hometown Holidays Headquarters

Meet us in front of Key Bank for festivities, fun for kids, and information on shopping, the Holiday Raffle, and neighborhood events.
Meet Santa
Professional Photo Fundraiser

Santa is coming to The Junction to listen to your children’s Christmas requests at City Mouse Studio and Store (4218 SW Alaska). The Junction Association will donate 100% of your suggested donation of $15 or more to West Seattle charities.
Mule Carriage Rides
December 2, 16
Time: 11-3PM
Take a traditional carriage ride down California pulled by beautiful Belgium Draft Mules. This is a treat to enjoy with the whole family and friends.
Shop Late Thursday
Every Thursday thru Dec. 20
Want an evening shopping alternative to stuffy malls? Many Junction retailers are open ‘till 9pm on Thursdays. Pair with happy hour and you’ve got a great night out!
