Reminder: Delridge Way/Trenton Street intersection closure Mar 1-4

The Seattle Department of Transportation will close a portion of Southwest Trenton Street starting this morning (Feb. 28) and the intersection of Delridge Way Southwest and Southwest Trenton Street starting Friday night. This work is part of the first phase of rebuilding Delridge Way Southwest.
February 28-March 4: Southwest Trenton Street will be closed between Delridge Way Southwest and 20th Avenue Southwest from 7 a.m. Thursday until 6 a.m. Monday at the latest.
March 1-March 4: The intersection of Delridge Way Southwest and Southwest Trenton Street will be closed from 7 p.m. Friday until 6 a.m. Monday at the latest. Crews will work around the clock. Local access will be maintained.
Crews will break and remove pavement on the east side of the intersection during the day on Thursday before proceeding with reconstruction of the intersection Friday night. The Thursday work will reduce nighttime noise impacts over the weekend and allow the concrete pour to begin earlier on Saturday.
For the Delridge/Trenton intersection closure, the detour is as follows (see map at link):
· Northbound Delridge Way SW to SW Barton Place/Street to 35th Avenue SW to SW Thistle Street to Delridge Way SW
· Southbound Delridge Way SW to SW Thistle Street to 35th Avenue SW to SW Barton Street/Place to Delridge Way SW
· Westbound SW Trenton Street to 16th Avenue SW to SW Henderson Street to SW Barton Place to 25th Avenue SW to SW Trenton Street
· Eastbound SW Trenton Street to 25th Avenue SW to SW Barton Place to SW Henderson Street to 16th Avenue SW to SW Trenton Street
This is a five-phase project. At the completion of the first phase, the construction activity will move to the section of Delridge Way Southwest between Southwest Trenton and Southwest Thistle streets.
