The Musica Sacra Chamber Chorale's "Taste of Britten" upcoming concert series has been selected by the Britten–Pears Foundation (BPF) to be represented on the britten100.org website as one of the selected events and activities worldwide to celebrate the centenary of composer Benjamin Britten in 2013. We are really excited to be in the company of groups like the New York Philharmonic, the Boston Symphony, the Sydney Philharmonia Chamber Singers, the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, generally those in the "who's who" of International Music Groups.
The Britten 100 branding and website has been developed by the Britten–Pears Foundation (BPF) working in partnership with the three main publishers of Britten's music - Boosey & Hawkes, Faber Music and Chester Music - and his recording company, Decca. BPF is based at The Red House in Aldeburgh, where Britten lived and worked.
