ROTARY CLUB OF WEST SEATTLE FIRST FRIDAY (press release)
The Rotary Club of West Seattle is known as the fun club. While we have serious meetings and have serious goals to help the community, on the First Friday we meet at a West Seattle watering hole for friendship and libations.
Our club uses the First Friday to not only have a good time but to do good things. We do this by focusing on a non-profit during our first Friday.
This Friday (April 5th) we will be meeting at Feedback Lounge, located at 6451 California Ave SW – The Morgan Junction. This month we are focusing on an International Charity that is also a Rotary International Partner- ShelterBox.
ShelterBox provides emergency shelter and lifesaving supplies for families who are affected by disasters, at the time when they need it the most. All the equipment needed for one family to survive for that critical time after a disaster is included in one box, a ShelterBox.
So come out and meet your local Rotary members and our own ShelterBox team.
See you there this Friday 5-7 PM.
The Rotary Club of West Seattle utilizes five avenues of service: Club, Vocational, International, New Generations and Community to connect with the community. They are pleased to give back to the community in many ways. If readers are interested in Rotary, and or would like to contribute to the Foundation, visit the website to learn more.
