New Seattle Police Twitter feed might help you get your bike back
Mon, 08/26/2013
Seattle Police have come up with a way to potentially return around 500 bikes that are currently in their evidence warehouse. They've launched a new Twitter feed with the handle of @Getyourbikeback.
Not all bikes are stolen, some are just forgotten, or abandoned. But if your bike was stolen this is a way to get it back...maybe.
They will tweet general descriptions of bikes they find and hope the clues are enough to prompt inquiries. You will need to provide details about the bike such as a serial number or if you don't have it, some description that matches the unique characteristics of the bike in question.
