A movie and a play in the same night? Absolutely and with a common theme. Hilarious political satire. Wag the Dog the movie and The Taming a new play at ArtsWest are part of the same evening Oct. 19. The Admiral Theater and ArtsWest are collaborating for an evening of political satire, unique to West Seattle Oct. 19. They are presenting a film and a play on the same night.
The evening begins early at 4pm with the showing of the political comedy Wag the Dog starring Dustin Hoffman and Robert DeNiro. Then later at 7:30 ArtsWest will present their new play Laurie Gunderson's The Taming.
Following the performance of The Taming, a discussion on political satire will be hosted by the Director of The Taming, Tammis Doyle.
