Scott Goerig, owner of the original Redline Sports Bar on 35th S.W. , said on Friday Oct. 25 that the soft open for the NEW Redline West Seattle would come most likely late next week Oct. 31 or Nov. 1. He's been busy in the construction industry since the original Redline closed and is anxious to get back in business, "filling two needs in West Seattle for both a sports bar and a family oriented pizza restaurant." The Herald is planning a look inside the new bar/restaurant and will give you a sneak peek early next week.

The long delayed sports bar, Redline West Seattle, which once occupied the location near S.W. Avalon Way and 35th S.W. (now occupied by The Bridge, also soon to leave that site), is aiming at a soft open the weekend of Oct 26-27 in its new location across the street, if all goes according to plan, this from a reliable source close to the company.

A sign is in the window saying they are actively hiring so it's getting close.

The restaurant/lounge/coffee shop is located at 3478 S.W. Avalon Way.

The company had planned to open last spring but ran into delays, pushing them into the fall.

The website they have in place has very little information thus far except to show they will feature burgers and sliders, chicken wings, hand tossed pizza, salads and appetizers.

It states they will have booths, a wrap around bar and "creative lighting" in the lounge and will have a full bar for cocktails, wine and beer.

This is a family oriented sports bar and will offer "simultaneous game feeds with viewing from every seat in the establishment."

The website http://redlinews.com/ says the concept behind the establishment is to be a combination restaurant, sports bar and coffee shop open from the morning into the evening. It lists the following features.
