Mon, 10/28/2013
King County Housing Authority and Homesight announced groundbreaking for eight new homes at the Greenbridge mixed-income housing community located on 8th Ave. S.W. in White Center.
According to Rhonda Rosenberg with KCHA, "The Homesight homes are intended to be affordable to families earning at or below 80 percent of the King County median income of $64,400 for a family of four."
Rosenberg said the homes are being built as a partnership between the housing authority and Homesight, "a community-based real estate developer and mortgage lender that works with first-time homebuyers."
Help with loans is being offered from multiple sources for homes ranging from three-bedroom, 2.25 baths starting at $265,000 to four-bedroom, 2.5 baths starting at $285,000, according to KCHA.
Presales are happening now and the homes are expected to be complete in April of 2014. For more details contact HomeSight at 206-723-4355 or www.homesightwa.org.
