With temperatures sinking below 30 degrees, the lure of the best deli food in West Seattle brought people out in large numbers to the Husky Deli's 81st Anniversary holiday party on Dec. 6. There was the usual ham, served up by Jack Miller the owner but there were also deviled eggs, stuffed mushrooms, crackers and salmon spread, teriyaki meatballs, mostaccioli in marinara sauce, honey from Shipwreck Honey, chicken drumettes, fudge from Yukon Jackson, wine tasting and much more.
People were even enjoying big ice cream cones despite the cold weather.
