This car flipped after failing to negotiate the hill on Genesee Street S.W. and hitting a fire hydrant. Other problems due to snow were cropping up all over the area.
As snow fell over the greater Puget Sound area on Saturday Feb. 8 it caused problems.
Witnesses say a car was heading Eastbound down SW Genesee hill, locked his brakes and slid into a fire hydrant knocked over a street sign and flipped the vehicle. No injuries were reported. Traffic was blocked on Genesee down to 26th S.W.
According to reader reports a bus was stuck on Sylvan Way hill along with several cars unable to make it up and more than one bus got stuck on Roxbury Street between21st and 26th Ave. S.W.
