A woman had to be extricated from her car following a collision just across from Rite Aid at Calfornia Ave. S.W. and S.W. Dawson on Friday May 23. The other driver in the two car accident was also taken to the hospital.

According to the Seattle Fire Department PIO Kyle Moore "Firefighters from Ladder 11 had to cut roof off the green car to extricate the female in her 50’s. She was wearing her seatbelt. AMR transported her in stable condition to HMC.
Two teenage males were in the Honda Civic. AMR transported one to Virginia Mason and the other teenager was driven to Virginia Mason by personal car. Both had minor injuries. The air bags did deploy in the car."

A two car collision in the 5000 block of California Ave. S.W. sent two people to the hospital on Friday, around 10:30 am.
The incident occurred according to Seattle Police when one car pulled out of the Rite-Aid parking lot and collided with a northbound car near California Ave. S.W. and S.W. Dawson.
The woman driver had to be extricated from the northbound vehicle and a male driver in the other car was also taken out of his vehicle and treated at the scene before being transported to Harborview.
