Seattle Police precinct desks now open 24 hours a day
Tue, 09/02/2014
Since last summer, the precinct desks of the Seattle Police Department have not been fully staffed. If you've called the precinct (remember for emergencies you should still call 911) to ask a question, follow up with a report, or even just to thank them for their service there were times when you couldn't reach people in the precinct directly.
That's all changed now.
They announced today that all five precinct desks will be fully staffed, 24 hours a day. You can still reach them through 911, but please reserve that for emergency calls.
In West Seattle the police precinct can be found at this address:
Southwest Precinct
2300 S.W. Webster
Seattle, WA 98106
(206) 733-9800
