The construction crane located at 3922 SW Alaska St is finally being taken apart after being installed 16 months ago. The site will host more than 200 apartments and an LA Fitness on the bottom floor. The entire process will last about a day and a half.

Most people from around the area know the site formerly called "The Hole", nicknamed because it was dug out by excavators back in 2008 and then sat idle until new ownership came along last year. The property is now called "Spruce".

The property was auctioned off back in October 2011, three years after the development stalled. The winning bidder Madison Development Group won it for $32 million dollars.
