Woman hit by bus in the Junction sent to hospital
A Metro van near where a woman was struck by Metro bus Route 50 on Monday, Oct. 13. She was seriously injured and was taken to the hospital. The incident is under investigation.

A woman has been struck by a bus in the West Seattle Junction. The bus involved was a Metro Route 50 and the woman was seriously injured. She was taken to the hospital.
According to witnesses, the woman had been asleep on the sidewalk and stepped in front of the bus as it pulled away eastbound on Alaska Street SW.
The Traffic Collision Investigation Squad came to investigate the matter
Routes 37, 50, 55, 128, DART 773 and the RapidRide C Line were blocked following the incident.
