Seattle Police directed traffic around the vehicles involved in the accident at Highland Park Way SW and West Marginal Way SW on Dec. 23.
An accident involving two trucks and two cars at the base of the hill where Highland Park Way SW and West Marginal Way SW meet snarled traffic and sent 4 people to the hospital on Tuesday. None were seriously injured according to Seattle Police.
The accident happened shortly before 4pm in a steady rain. The two trucks collided with heavy damage to both vehicles while two passenger cars also collided in a what appeared to be a rear end impact.
One driver according to Seattle Police had to be cut out of his truck. One person was taken from the scene via ambulance to the hospital
Seattle Fire EMT's and multiple tow trucks responded to the scene.
Traffic southbound on West Marginal Way was blocked and limited to one lane eastbound on Highland Park Way SW.
