West Seattle High School's boys basketball season came to a conclusion with a 79-56 loss at Eastside Catholic in the opening round of the Sea-King District tournament Saturday night.
A win would have advanced the Wildcats into the double elimination portion of the tournament.
Nate Pryor paced West Seattle with 21 points and Andre Moore swished in 15.
The Wildcats qualified as the ninth and final seed out of the Metro League with a 67-62 victory over Bainbridge two days earlier.
In other area action, Evergreen High School of White Center was eliminated from the West Central District Class 2A boys tournament by a 64-41 loss to North Kitsap at Curtis High School in Tacoma on Saturday afternoon.
The Wolverines were ousted by Sequim in the girls tournament by a 40-23 score Friday night.
