This car was in the water after the driver lost control coming off Hwy 509. The driver was not injured.
A driver of a small white sedan headed south on Hwy 509 on Monday March 16, lost control of his vehicle as he took the exit to 2nd Ave. Southwest. The car left the road and and ended up in the water of a estuary near the road. He was not injured. Seattle Fire and Police responded, blocking traffic Southbound on the 1st Ave. South Bridge as they effected a rescue.
The car was towed out of the water.
He was given a field sobriety test and taken into custody by the Washington State Patrol.
