Baseball
Nine area baseball games will be played this Wednesday.
Evergreen visits Kennedy for a 3:30 p.m. game as Tyee hosts Hazen, Foster goes to Renton and Highline to Lindbergh.
Seattle Lutheran goes to Sprinker Recreation Center in Spanaway to play Evergreen Lutheran at the same time and West Seattle travels to Blanchet.
Chief Sealth is at Eastside Catholic at 4 p.m. with Thomas Jefferson at Mount Rainier and Seattle Christian at Vashon at the same time.
Tyee entertains Renton at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, while at 4 p.m. Federal Way is at Mount Rainier and Bellevue Christian at Seattle Christian. Seattle Lutheran comes home to the Southwest Athletic Complex to play Quilcene at 6:30 p.m. that day.
Chief Sealth hosts Garfield at 4 p.m. Friday, and at 3:30 p.m. West Seattle is at Roosevelt, Foster at Kennedy, Evergreen at Tyee and Highline at Renton.
Seattle Christian gets a 2:30 p.m. visit from Overlake on Saturday.
Monday at 3:30 p.m. Lakeside is at West Seattle, Hazen at Kennedy, Highline at Foster, Lindbergh at Tyee and Evergreen at Renton. Chief Sealth goes to Bainbridge at 4 p.m. and Seattle Lutheran hosts the Muckleshoot Tribal School at 6:30 p.m.
Mount Rainier entertains Tahoma at 4 p.m. Tuesday.
Fastpitch softball
Kennedy is at home at Chelsea Park playing Evergreen at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday as Tyee hosts Hazen, Foster travels to Renton and Highline to Lindbergh.
Tyee entertains Renton at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, with Mount Rainier going to Kentwood and Seattle Christian at home against Bellevue Christian at 4 p.m.
Foster is at Kennedy for 3:30 p.m. action Friday and Evergreen at Tyee with Highline traveling to Renton.
Chief Sealth gets a 4 p.m. visit from Ingraham Monday and West Seattle goes to Bainbridge at 3:30 p.m.
Tyee plays host to Seattle Christian at 3:45 p.m.
Foster faces a 3:30 p.m. home game against Bellevue Christian on Tuesday, with Mount Rainier at Decatur and Seattle Christian at home against Cascade Christian at 4 p.m.
Boys soccer
Highline is at Kennedy at the Starfire Complex in Tukwila at 4 p.m. Thursday, then Evergreen travels to Hazen at 5:30 p.m. with Foster going to Tyee and Mount Rainier to Kent-Meridian at 7:30 p.m.
Seattle Christian battles Tyee at 3:30 p.m. at Valley Ridge on Monday.
Chief Sealth visits Nathan Hale at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and at 5:30 p.m. Mount Rainier hosts Kentlake and West Seattle travels to Ballard.
Evergreen gets a 7 p.m. visit from Evergreen on Mount Rainier's field and at 7:30 p.m. Highline hosts Tyee and Kennedy travels to Renton.
Tennis
Evergreen hosts Kennedy for a 3:30 p.m. match Wednesday as Highline entertains Lindbergh, Foster hosts Renton and Tyee travels to Hazen.
Foster gets a visit from Evergreen at 3:30 p.m. Thursday with Tyee going to Renton and Mount Rainier to Kentridge.
Tyee is at Evergreen at 3:30 p.m. Friday as Kennedy goes to Foster and Highline hosts Renton.
West Seattle is home against Ingraham and Chief Sealth home against Cleveland a 3:30 p.m. Tuesday as Mount Rainier travels to Tahoma.
Track and field
Evergreen/Tyee hosts Foster at 3:30 p.m. Thursday as Highline entertains Hazen and Kennedy visits Renton and Lindbergh.
Mount Rainier visits Thomas Jefferson at 3:15 p.m. that day and Seattle Christian goes to Charles Wright with Cascade Christian and Bellevue Christian at 3 p.m.
Shorewood Christian and Seattle Lutheran are both at Franklin Pierce competing against the entire SeaTac B League at 5 p.m.
Mount Rainier is involved in the Eason Invitational at 10 a.m. Saturday.
Pros and college
Mariners
Seattle is in Los Angeles for 7:10 p.m. Major League Baseball action against the Dodgers on Wednesday before coming home to Safeco Field to face the Texas Rangers at 7:10 p.m. Friday, 6:10 p.m. Saturday and 1:10 p.m. Sunday.
The Mariners then hosts the Houston Astros at 7:10 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.
Seattle games can be seen on ROOT Sports cable television.
Rainiers
The Mariners Class AAA affiliate in Tacoma is in Albuquerque at 5:35 p.m. Wednesday and 11:05 a.m. Thursday before coming home to Cheney Stadium to play El Paso at 7:05 p.m. Friday, 5:05 p.m. Saturday, 1:35 p.m. Sunday and 6:05 p.m. Monday.
Albuquerque invades for 6:05 p.m. action Tuesday.
Sounders
Seattle is in Colorado playing the Rapids n a 6 p.m. Major League Soccer match Saturday.
Husky baseball
The University of Washington hosts Arizona State University at 7 p.m. Friday, 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday.
Husky softball
The Huskies visit Seattle University for a 6 p.m. game Wednesday.
