A suspicious fire in a bucket near a condominium in the 3000 block Avalon Way produced a lot of smoke but no damage. Earlier an electrical fire at a home in Arbor Heights had firefighters on the roof and working to clear the smoke.
Two fires in West Seattle in the early morning hours of Sunday June 7 kept firefighters busy. The first at 10215 102nd SW was electrical but require going in through the roof to be sure the fire was out.
The second in the 3000 block of Avalon Way SW was "suspicious" in nature confined to a bucket but producing a lot of black smoke. No one was hurt in either incident.
