Youth sports
Little League
The PacWest complex located between Burien and SeaTac will be the site of all District 7 Little League baseball tournaments this year, with the action getting underway Friday and running through July 10.
Divisions involved are Minors, age 10-11, Majors, Intermediate and Juniors and the charters involved are West Seattle, Southwest (White Center), PacWest, South Highline National, South Highline American, Renton, Rainier District and Seattle Central.
At stake are berths into state tournaments to be played in July.
No District 7 softball tournaments will be played this year, but SHNLL/SHALL will send a 9/10 team and PacWest will send a 10/11 team to state.
Swimming
Area youngsters will plunge into their summer swim club seasons with 6 p.m. meets Thursday.
Gregory Seahurst opens at home against Kent as Olympic View entertains Marine Hills.
Arbor Heights opens at Lakeridge and Normandy Park goes to Twin Lakes.
At home at the same time Tuesday are Gregory Seahurst against Marine Hills and Normandy Park against Lakeridge as Olympic View goes to Twin Lakes and Arbor Heights to Kent.

Highline Bears
Highline's Bears travel to Kelowna, B.C. for a tournament this weekend.
They take on Burnaby at 9 a.m. Friday and Kamloops at 4 p.m. Friday before battling Victoria at 9 a.m. Saturday. They play an opponent to be announced at 10 a.m. Sunday.
Highline beat the U.S. Military All-Stars by a 12-6 score this past Friday after taking a 9-3 loss to the Everett Merchants on Thursday and a 5-1 loss to the Seattle Studs on Tuesday.
Pros
Mariners
Seattle is at home playing the Kansas City Royals at 7:10 p.m. Wednesday before going on a road trip to California.
The Mariners play a 7:05 p.m. game at the home of the Los Angeles Angels Friday before taking them on at 4:15 p.m. Saturday and 12:35 p.m. Sunday.
Seattle drops in on the San Diego Padres at 7:10 p.m. Tuesday.
Mariners action can be seen on ROOT Sports cable television and heard on 710 AM.
Rainiers
Tacoma hosts Reno for 7:05 p.m. games at Cheney Stadium on Wednesday and Thursday before El Paso comes to town for a 7:05 p.m. game Friday, a 5:05 p.m. game Saturday, a 1:35 p.m. game Sunday and a 6:05 p.m. game Monday. Las Vegas comes for 6:05 p.m. action Tuesday.
Rainiers games are carried on 850 AM and the MiLB cable network.
Sounders
Seattle visits Philadelphia for a 4 p.m. match Wednesday.
Sounders games can be heard on 97.3 FM and 1360 AM.
Storm
Seattle hosts Minnesota for 7 p.m. action at the KeyArena on Thursday before going to San Antonio for a 5 p.m. game Saturday and to Tulsa for a 4 p.m. battle Sunday.
The Storm comes home to play the same Tulsa team at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Reign
Seattle entertains FC Kansas City for a 7:30 p.m. women's professional soccer match at Seattle Memorial on Saturday.
