Senior Center of West Seattle has expanded its health & fitness options. This new yoga class for older adults meets Thursdays, 10-11 a.m. $7/Senior Center members or $10/non-members. Suitable for beginners and those with some yoga experience. Instructor Anita Thompson is a certified yoga teacher with more than 15 years of teaching experience. Class will help those 50 and older stay active and address some of the challenges of aging, such as improving balance and flexibility. Advance registration is preferred, but drop-ins welcome. Bringing a yoga mat and a large bath towel are recommended.

Volunteers for Sign Language Communication with Deaf
Come in once or twice a month to speak with a senior deaf resident. This would be very beneficial for us to have an opportunity to interact with them as well as provide practice to volunteer who studies or wants to practice using sign language.
