Ramon Aspeitia is fighting for his life at Harbourview Medical Center following a stabbing in White Center Oct. 25. He was attacked by three hispanic males after he got off a bus and flagged down a King County Sheriff deputy who called paramedics. Now, his boss at Shadowland in the West Seattle Junction Ben Jenkins is hoping people will help him. Jenkins has set up a fundraising page to provide some financial support for him as he recovers. That page and the link are below.
Here's the text from the page.
"Ramon is a highly respected and extremely hard working employee at both Shadowland and Ma'ono in the West Seattle Junction neighborhood. He was viciously attacked by 3 men and brutally stabbed in the back on his commute home after work Sunday Oct 25th around 6:30 pm at his bus transfer in White Center. He is currently in Harborview Medical center fighting to be stabilized and to regain feeling in the lower half of his body. We are all hoping for a full recovery and he could use your thoughts and prayers at this time. This is gonna take a tremendous toll on his family and of course his 2 children. We're asking the community to help in anyway they can. Every bit will help his family with the medical and monthly bills while he recovers. His family will greatly appreciate anything you can do to help."

Jenkins said, "Ramon is easily the hardest working guy we have at Shadowland and my friend Mark Fuller says the same for him at Ma'ono. He's really just trying to do the right thing for his children. And by that I mean work his tail off to provide for them any way he can.
Ramon is a kind man with a put your head down and work hard mentality. Willing to help his fellow coworkers out without question at a moment's notice. Over the last few years he's became family here at Shadowland. He's not just a coworker. He's became a friend to us all.
People don't have a sour word to say about Ramon. Which makes this attack even more shocking to us all. He wouldn't put himself or his family at risk. These three guys picked this fight and viciously attacked him. For what reason we don't know. The cops are gathering as much information as they can. These guys need to be caught. This is unacceptable.
His current condition as of this afternoon: He was in serious condition since Sunday night. He has since been stabilized as of this afternoon and is now breathing on his own. But the knife blade was broken off in his back by the attackers. Injury is pretty serious. He still hasn't regained feeling in his legs. This is the most recent report I've received but he's not allowed any visitors at this time so we're just getting bits and pieces of info from his family. So I don't want to mistakenly report anything to you. He's in all of our thoughts and prayers as you can imagine."
