The VW beetle suffered front end damage but the Scion was smashed in on the driver's side and rolled up on to the passenger side following the collision.
A late model Scion sedan was smashed in and on it's side following a collision with a Volkswagen convertible Beetle shortly before 10pm on Friday, Jan. 8.
The female driver of the beetle was shaken up but was conscious and alert but the driver and passenger of the Scion van were apparently more seriously injured and all three were taken to the hospital.
The incident occurred in the 4400 block of SW Graham Street and multiple units of the Seattle Fire Department responded to help extricate the driver and passenger from the Scion.
The Scion was apparently traveling eastbound on SW Graham when the collision with the VW that was traveling northbound came out of an alley.
Traffic on SW Graham was stopped while the cleanup and rescue took place.
