Seven year old girl safe after car stolen with her inside; Suspect still at large

A seven year old girl, who was asleep in the back seat, is safe after the car she was in was stolen when her mother stopped at a convenience store around 3:15 am on Saturday morning. The vehicle was recovered about an hour later and the child was found safe.
The woman called 911 from the 7-Eleven at South 118th Street and Des Moines Memorial Drive South around 4 am.
Witnesses told police that a white male had been seen in the area shortly before the theft.
The car was found by police near the intersection of South 136th Street and 12th Avenue South around 5am
King County Sheriff's are asking for anyone with info about the crime to call the Sheriff's Office at 206-296-3311.
