Five year Starbucks partner Samantha Roach was 'knighted' by the Seafair Pirates at the West Seattle Junction Starbucks location on Wed. June 15 as part of the annual summer celebration's opening weekend.
Seattle's annual summer celebration of all things maritime, Seafair came to West Seattle on Wednesday morning June 15 for part of its kickoff and the Seafair Pirates were part of the fun.
The pirates handed out coins, cards, beads and of course gave all the ladies a hug as they posed for pictures and gave the event that special Seafair feel.
They also took time, with Seafair officials to 'Knight' five year Starbucks partner Samantha Roach (her favorite drink is the Komodo Dragon... ask about it), in a ceremony involving a sword, a proclamation and a medallion.
