Boys basketball
Seattle Christian and Kennedy will both will see state regional action Friday.
JFK will play Kentridge in an 8 p.m. at Rogers as the Warriors rake on Cascade Christian at Puyallup.
West Seattle waits until 2 p.m. Saturday to play Timberline at Bellevue College when Seattle Lutheran goes to W.F. West in Chehalis to play Napavine.
Girls basketball
West Seattle plays a 12 p.m. game Saturday at Bellevue College against a foe to be determined.
Seattle Christian goes on the road to Pasco to take on Columbia in a 2 p.m. game that day at Chiawana High School.
Pros
Mariners
Seattle launches into its preseason schedule Saturday, playing the San Diego Padres in a 12:10 p.m. game in Peoria, Ariz.
The Mariners play the same team at the same time and place Sunday, before entertaining the Kansas City Royals at 12:10 p.m. Monday in Peoria.
They visit the Chicago White Sox at 12:05 p.m. Tuesday.
Thunderbirds
Seattle visits the Tri-City Americans for a 7:05 p.m. Canadian Hockey League match Friday, before coming home to the Showare Center in Kent to play the Kelowna Rockets at 7:05 p.m. Saturday and the Everett Silvertips at 5:05 p.m. Sunday.
Stars
Tacoma entertains the Chicago Mustangs in a 7:35 p.m. men's indoor professional soccer match at the Showare Center in Kent this Friday.
Colleges
Husky vs. Cougar men
The University of Washington visits Washington State University for a 5:30 p.m. game in Pullman on Sunday that can be seen on ESPNU.
Husky women
Washington hosts Colorado for an 8 p.m. game Thursday before getting a visit from Utah at 2 p.m. Saturday.
Both games will be shown on the Pac-12 cable television network.
Cougar women
Utah comes to Pullman to play the Cougars at 6 p.m. Thursday and Colorado comes to town for a 1 p.m. game Saturday.
Thursday's action can be seen on Pac-12 cable.
Redhawks men
UTRGV hosts Seattle for a 5 p.m. game Thursday, then the Redhawks visit New Mexico State for a 6 p.m. game Saturday.
Redhawks women
Seattle entertains UTRGV at 7 p.m. Thursday and New Mexico State at 4 p.m. Saturday.
Bulldogs men
Gonzaga visits San Diego for a 7 p.m. game Thursday before entertaining BYU at the same time Saturday.
Thursday's game can be seen on ROOT Sports and Saturday's on ESPN2.

Gonzaga hosts San Diego for 6 p.m. action Thursday before visiting BYU for a 1 p.m. game Saturday.
Falcons men
Seattle Pacific University visits Western Washington University for 7 p.m. action Wednesday before dropping in on Simon Fraser University at the same time Saturday.
Falcons women
Seattle Pacific University entertains Concordia-Portland at 7 p.m. Thursday and hosts Western Oregon at 2 p.m. Saturday.
