Long Live The Kings "Salish Stories" gala promoting salmon restoration April 20

Environmental and salmon preservation organization Long Live The Kings (LLTK) annual "Salish Stories" spring gala is set for April 20 at SoDo Park, 3200 1st Ave South.
This major fundraiser for LLTK is open to the public and is a ticketed event in support of salmon recovery and sustainable fishing.
Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres are followed by a dinner, auction, and presentation.
- LLTK Founder and Board Chairman Jim Youngren will be honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award in Salmon Conservation
- Incredible live and silent auction items including Husky football tickets will be featured
- Salmon stories from the LLTK community will be presented
- Attendees will get a peek at the LLTK's new Survive the Sound campaign
Past winners of the Lifetime Achievement Award have included Congressman Norm Dicks, William D. Ruckelshaus, Governor Christine Gregoire, Denis Hayes, the Hama Hama Company, and Billy Frank, Jr.
