Coming up March 6 is the first White Center Small Business Resource Fair. The event will run from 8am to 12Noon at 9988 15th Ave SW, Ste. E - White Center Square.

Seven different not-for-profit organizations specializing in small business advising and lending will be on hand to answer questions, provide help on starting or growing a business, provide business plan feedback and advice, information on licensing, loans, financial projections, marketing and social media plans..

• Business Impact NW

Serves underbanked entrepreneurs with comprehensive business assistance and access to capital. Our loan range is from $5,000-$250,000 and includes start-up and Islamic-compliant financing. businessimpactnw.org

• Mercy Corps

Provides consulting, microloans up to $50,000, or just a shoulder to lean on for
entrepreneurs looking to start or grow their business. mercycorpsnw.org

• Greater Seattle SCORE

A nationwide network of free, expert business mentors who provide no-cost 1 on 1 counseling, workshops, templates, and tools needed to build a successful business. seattle.score.org

• Craft 3

A non-profit mission-based community development lender focused on helping
entrepreneurs who cannot access financing from traditional sources with loans ranging from $25,000 to $5 million. craft3.org

• Center for Inclusive Entrepreneurship

Accessible and affordable "first step" entrepreneurship education, training, mentorship, and other support. cie-nw.org.

• StartZone at Highline

Helps South King County residents start profitable businesses by offering free feasibility assessments, business planning and consulting, mentoring, networking, peer support, and referral.

• Small Business Development Center at Highline

Advising and training for existing businesses and start-ups.
