Can you help a Sealth senior create an unforgettable memory? Grad Night organizers need assistance
Wed, 03/29/2017
Parents are organizing the Grad night for Seniors at Chief Sealth IHS. Many students are not able to afford the evening and several fundraisers are being organized to get the costs down for the evening event.
The event is schedule for Wednesday, June 21 starting at 10:00pm. It as usual will depart from Chief Sealth via bus to a series of destinations that remain a surprise. The event is chaperoned but often the seniors see a magic show, have a meal and visit places they might not expect.
The tickets are $80.00 which for many students is a financial hardship.
To help the seniors you can drop off money to the school office labeled Grad Night donation c/o PSTA.
You can buy tickets online at http://chiefsealthptsa.org/blog/2017-chief-sealth-grad-night/
What is Grad Night?
This event has traditionally taken place after the graduation ceremony in June. Grad Night keeps graduates safe on what is statistically one of the most dangerous and tragic nights for our young people. This event is put on by the parent volunteers for a drug and alcohol-free chance to have one last night together as a Class before heading out into the world. After the graduation ceremony, CSI Alumni will board the buses at the school and head off to top secret locations for an entertaining, all-night party. To return the next morning, tired but content that the class of 2017 will be starting their new journeys, safe.
