One man was arrested and another escaped on foot as police pursued a car near the Gasco mart at 35th and Morgan on Saturday afternoon. K-9 units were brought in as police set up a perimeter for several blocks around the mart where the car had been abandoned.

According to SPD two suspects stole a car and ditched it at the gas station/mini mart on 35th Ave SW and SW Morgan st. One suspect fled Northbound but couldn’t be located while the driver was apprehended in a back yard of a house on 34th Ave SW via K-9.
