Ian Bailey hit two home runs and Alex Athanacio one as the San Francisco Seals beat the Highline Bears on Friday, 5-3.
Bailey launched a solo home run in the top of the first for a quick 1-0 Seals lead in the action at Mel Olson Stadium at Steve Cox Memorial Park in White Center, but the Bears struck twice in the bottom of the inning.
One run scored on a bases loaded walk by Matt Stuart and the other on an Alex Sisley RBI fielder's choice.
Chase Hodkinson of the Bears ripped an RBI single in the second for a 3-1 lead.
The lead held until the top of the sixth behind the pitching of Ryan Kolisch, but the Seals broke out the big bats at that time.
Athanacio crunched a three-run home run to make it 4-3 before Bailey blasted another solo shot to put the score at its final 5-3 margin in favor of San Francisco.
Highline now goes on the road to British Columbia to play the Langley Blaze in a 1:05 p.m. double-header Saturday.
The Bears will not be home again until 7:05 p.m. next Saturday, when they take on the Kent Bulldogs at Mel Olson Stadium.
