The West Seattle Junction Merchants Association announces the 2017 Harvest Festival set for Oct 29 from 10am to 2pm. It's time to register for a neighborhood fall favorite, Harvest Festival. The Junction merchants are welcoming West Seattle schools, nonprofits, and businesses to provide an interactive arts/crafts or game harvest-related activity for kids in the neighborhood. With record crowds in 2016, it's easy to see why so many community organizations want to sign up for this autumn event.
It is FREE to participate. The Harvest Committee will choose the projects best suited for the event. Your Harvest Activity must be a fun kids activity and meet ALL of the guidelines...
- Activity must be FREE and suited to children
- No sales
- Must try to have a Harvest connection and be an activity or project
- Activity should not be an advertisement or promotion of the applicant. Of course have your banner and some materials, but the emphasis is on giving kids a fun activity
- Handing out candy 12 Noon
NOTE: We will receive more applications than space allows, therefore acceptance into the event is not guaranteed. Applicants will be judged solely on the quality of their activity and appeal to neighborhood children. When describing your activity, please be as detailed as needed to convey the activity.
