The sixth annual West Seattle Harvest fest was more popular than ever Oct. 29 with thousands of people, most whom were in a costume of some kind swarmed the West Seattle Junction to enjoy a day of family fun. A chili cook off from local restaurants for a $10 fee got you nine samples all to benefit the West Seattle Foodbank.
The West Seattle High School band led a parade through the festival and past the Sunday Farmers Market booths and trick or treating was a hit with big lines outside every participating Junction business.
New this year was a Root Beer Garden staged outside the Beer Junction.
The winner of the Chili Cook off was Duos Catering followed by Pecos Pit BBQ and then Easy Street Records Cafe.
