The West Seattle Timebank, High Point Library, and High Point Neighborhood House invite you to join us in celebrating…
Neighbor Day
Saturday, February 10th, 2018
1:00pm – 4:00pm
at the High Point Library
3411 SW Raymond Street, Seattle, WA 98126
Meet your neighbor, learn about community resources, and participate in a fun activity!
Refreshments too!
High Point Library staff will be on hand to provide more information on resources available to you at no cost. Laptops will be available for job search information and resume assistance. High Point Neighborhood House will also have program staff available to provide information on STUDIO, a STEM program that partners with the University of Washington.
The West Seattle Timebank hopes you will clean out your games, puzzles, or activities and head to Neighbor Day. Swap out the old for a new-to-you activity to get you through the winter months. While you’re here, learn about how you can make lasting connections within your community with the West Seattle Timebank.
How to participate:
Bring a game, puzzle or activity kit you no longer want. Board games, card games, travel games, puzzles, arts and craft kits, word puzzle books, and other kid-approved, family-friendly, or adult activities are welcome. Gently loved condition or better is preferred with all pieces included. It’s no fun to play a game or do an activity without all the pieces!
How does the swap work?
Drop in on Neighbor Day between 1:00pm – 4:00pm. Swap for as many games as you bring: Bring 1 activity, take one home, bring 2 activities, take 2 home… Anything not claimed in the exchange will first be offered to the High Point Library for future game events.
