A fire in a single family home at 5923 47th SW broke out just after 10pm on March 23 but the residents managed to get out safely according to Chief Bannister of the Seattle Fire Dept. No one was hurt in the incident.
There was a lot of smoke but no flames were visible and the fire was quickly dealt with. The fire began in the kitchen but no damage estimate has yet been established.
A fire marshall was on the scene and an investigation was underway.
