Typical of many neighborhood gatherings the group of friends and residents on Henderson Street SW near the Fauntleroy Ferry dock gathered as they do every year.

After missing a year due to the pandemic, many neighbors in West Seattle relished (with actual relish) the chance to get together with neighbors, share a potluck meal and fellowship after being relatively isolated for so long.
Down on Henderson Street near the ferry dock, a group of long time neighbors gathered and swapped stories, shook hands and cooked burgers, with everyone in a celebratory mood.
Meanwhile up in the West Seattle Junction they tried something new. The entire business district was alive with music as buskers from around the city showed up to entertain, and have some fun as hundreds of people stopped briefly to enjoy the music and drop a few dollars in their open guitar cases.
