Power outage on Sept. 12 affected more than 3000 initially but some of the issues were resolved quickly with 562 affected by dual outages caused by equipment failure.
562 city light customers lost power around 2pm along Avalon Way in West Seattle. The cause was listed as Equipment failure. Power was expected to be restored after 6pm

The outage extends from Genesee Street north of the West Seattle Golf Course, to Spokane Street south to North and along Avalon Way SW over to 28th SW on the east to near Fauntleroy Way SW on the West.
