King County Executive Dow Constantine and regional partners will propose next steps in response to concrete strike at King County Council Tuesday in a virtual meeting of the King County Council at 1 p.m. to propose the next steps King County and regional partners could take with regards to the concrete strike that has delayed critical infrastructure projects around the region, including completing the repairs on the West Seattle Bridge.
The strike between Teamsters Local 174 and several local concrete manufacturers has stalled most local construction projects, including expansion of Sound Transit Light Rail, public and private housing projects, and critical environmental infrastructure.
Executive Constantine will be joined by representatives from other public agencies.
