Adding retail offerings to a restaurant normally means T-Shirts or other swag but at the Great American Diner in the West Seattle Junction, owner Glen Quadros sees things a little differently.
"I'm always looking for ways to make the experience here better or more fun," Quadros said, "That's why we introduced live music, comedy nights, a pretty amazing happy hour and more."
Now available at the restaurant are polished stones, crystals, bracelets, obelisks, and geodes.
"We kept the prices very reasonable because we wanted to make these items a nice addition to a meal, but we're just as happy to offer them to shoppers."
The prices range from $6 for some stones to $8 to $20 for bracelets of Ammonite, Obsidian, Smokey Quartz, Rose Quartz, Tiger eye, Pink Opal, Amethyst, Multicolor Tourmaline, and Malachiite. Also available are quartz tower points, all the way up to Amethyst Geodes for several hundred dollars.
