Lloyd B. Hinichs moved from West Seattle in 1993 to Silverdale, Washington. He died of heart failure on March 22, 2006 in Silverdale. He was born in Crow Lake (Wessington Springs) South Dakota April 10, 1927 to George and Agatha (Daniels) Hinrichs.

Lloyd joined the army in 1946 and served as Military Police stationed in Japan during WWII. In Seattle he was a machinist and worked for Huntley Machine and Tool until he retired in 1991.

Lloyd was an active member of his community.

Laura Jane Kurpius age 78, passed away March 24, 2006. She is survived by two sons, Joseph and John; four Grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Charles A. Learmonth, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 15, 2006. Born April 12, 1932, Charles and his wife worked and lived for 40+ years in West Seattle Alki Beach until 1999 when they moved to Port Ludlow. He is remembered as a strong, caring man who adored his wife, Barbara, and loved his family, including their dog Meghan. Also known as Uncle Charlie and Grandpa- he could always bring a smile to anyone and everyone.

Hugh has gone to be with the love of his life Mary Lou. They both now reside for eternity with God in Heaven. For those of us that remain here on earth we find comfort in the knowledge that they are reunited once again. Hugh has been in mourning for thirty-two months since Mary Lou departed to secure their reservation with our Heavenly Father. His spirit was reawakened on the 25th of March when he became aware that God was ready for him. In passing Hugh experienced the same dignity with which he lived. Hugh was gentle giant among men.

Born in Columbus, North Dakota on May 23, 1918. Died on March 19, 2006 surrounded by his loving family. He spent his early years in Minot, North Dakota and learned to play all sports, including ice hockey on the frozen ponds. He hopped a freight train heading to the West coast when he was a teenager and settled in Everett with his Dad. His love of sports, especially basketball, opened doors for him and led to a full scholarship at WSU where he led the Cougars in scoring from 1938-1940 and was referred to as a "flashy ball handler".

Passed away unexpectedly on March 29, 2006 at the age of 52. He was a well-known and highly respected businessman in West Seattle with Quality Auto Rebuild for 27 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Jenny Wallace; daughters Kristy Hoppenrath, Kellee Wallace and Shelly Wallace-Skaro; mother Patricia Wallace; stepmother Bonnie Eglin; uncle Lee Frazier; aunt Shari Lee; brothers Todd Wallace and Dale Gregerson; grandchildren Jordan Skaro, Dylann Peterson and Annabelle Wallace Hoppenrath; dogs Jake and Sadie; cats Tigger, Speed, Suki and Smokes.
