On October 25, the City’s Department of Planning & Development released its draft regulations related to the Shoreline Master Program update. The Ballard community has miles of shoreline which are essential for the conduct of our maritime economy as well as for those who live on the shoreline, live on the water, and enjoy our most cherished natural asset. Regulating our shoreline and encouraging appropriate use is a legal mandate; and is in the best interest of all of us.

What is it that should inspire us to recycle, compost, and reduce the waste steam?
